WORSHIP WITH US
First Christian Church
(Disciples of Christ)
We are so glad you are here!
We are an Open and Affirming church.
All are welcome - no exceptions!
You are welcome to worship with us in person in our beautiful sanctuary or join us via zoom.
We celebrate the Lord's Supper each Sunday, and you are always invited to share in that sacrament. If you join us via zoom, prepare for the Lord's Supper at home with some bread or any type of cracker, and some juice of any kind.
We are united through that sacred meal.
We are united in Christ's love.

Covid Guidelines for In-Person Worship
In order to protect our neighbors, we ask that everyone wear a face covering while in the church.
We practice social distancing. Every other pew in the sanctuary is blocked off to ensure appropriate social distancing.
Singing in worship will be suspended until the current infection rate goes down. Music is an important part of our worship service so although we cannot sing together in the sanctuary, we encourage those joining us in-person to hum along to the hymns. We also encourage those joining us via zoom to sing along at home.
To protect our children, particularly those at highest risk and those who are unable to be vaccinated, all children's programming will remain on-line or outdoors.
FCC will continue to offer worship via Zoom and we encourage those who are at higher risk to evaluate their risk in light of Delta and consider remote participation.
In the case of a Covid outbreak, we ask that every sign in when arriving in the sanctuary. That way we can keep track of everyone who attended church in person and better protect you and our community.
Caring for Each Other
We encourage people who may have been recently exposed to participate remotely and ask anyone who has known exposure to participate remotely.
Covid is SNEAKY! Even minor signs of illness may be a contagious case of covid. Please, protect each other by worshiping remotely if experiencing ANY signs of illness (including even head ache, sniffles, sore throat, and of course sneeze, cough, fever, loss of smell).
