WELCOME

WE WELCOME ALL.
NO EXCEPTIONS.

Looking for a church where your gifts are valued? You know the kind—where you can make a difference, not just inside the walls but out in the community? Welcome to First Christian Church of Lynchburg! We’re glad you’re here. If you’re tired of looking around for churches where the welcome mat is out but the doors are closed, you’ve just found a home. At First, we are committed to becoming nothing less than a joyful dwelling place for God (Ephesians 2.22), and we’d love for you to walk this journey with us!

WHO WE ARE

First Christian Church, Lynchburg, is an Open and Affirming congregation, which means that we welcome all as God welcomes, without regard to race, gender, age, ethnicity, cultural or religious background, economic status, mental or physical ability, sexual orientation, family configuration, or other distinction. We are one humanity. We seek to follow the teachings of Jesus. We draw strength from his inclusive love, doing our best to share his love and to serve as instruments of his peace.
