"Contemplating the Face of Jesus" Exhibit
This exhibit is a resource that will benefit the whole
community. There are approximately 75 pictures in the gallery
and these were collected in response to a ministry to remember
Jesus and his many facets and ways of being during his life and
preaching on earth.
If you have not taken the opportunity, plan to come
by the church and spend an hour or two contemplating these
images using the booklet which Marian Gogel produced which
includes information about the artwork and artists as well as
mediative material.
The Gallery is open 9:00 a.m. - 1:30 p.m., Monday through
Friday. For other group viewing schedules, please phone the
church office, 384-8626. Donations for printed material are
welcome.
Return to this page later. New images will be added
occasionally.

Introduction
Jesus has always spoken for himself, and these pictures will
also speak. This project began with a sincere longing to see the
face of Jesus and evolved into a physical manifestation of that
longing as expressed by many artists and other supporters.
Therefore we have all found Him, at least in part! This physical
manifestation is meant not to be presented as "idolatry," as
some might be concerned, but is more simple: it is the closest
physically that those of us who long to be with Jesus and to
touch Him can come.
We are an evolving group with much joy, but also difficult
work, we people of God, and need anchors placed on our ships for
rests and refreshments along the journey. There is hope that
this gallery will provide one for you. May the strong wind of
God find you sailing closer to Him.
---Marian Gogel
